It brings around 100 events to the city, from concerts to theatre, through to a whole range of talks, poetry and guided walks. St John&#8217;s Chapel hosts a number of events during the Festival.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Download the full Festival programme here:<\/strong> <a title=\"Festival of Chichester\" href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofchichester.co.uk\/\">Festival of Chichester.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">St John&#8217;s Chapel is a rare example of a Georgian proprietary chapel now in the care of the <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><a title=\"Churches Conservation Trust\" href=\"http:\/\/www.visitchurches.org.uk\/\">The Churches Conservation Trust<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">, a national charity that looks after over 350 important redundant churches throughout England, including seven in Sussex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Friends of St John\u2019s Chapel\u00a0is a voluntary group that works in partnership with o secure the future of the chapel by helping to maintain it, raise awareness of it and by looking for opportunities to promote and extend its use to a wider public. The Chapel is the focus for a wide range of cultural and arts events throughout the year: it is also one of the principal venues for the annual Festival of Chichester.<\/p>\n<p>The Chapel is open for visitors every day of the week 10:00am to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteer Friends make every effort to open the chapel to visitors.
